Alois Kracher's Weinlaubenhof is a winery with domain character. The grapes for the wines come every year from the same sites, are highly individual and bear the master´s signature. It is most important to Luis that this will not change because, as he puts it, "Large-scale production where I can no longer take care of each barrel myself is out of the question".
Yields of botrytized grapes, by the way, are especially low. The result is a paradox market situation: On the one hand, no other Austrian wine is as widespread internationally as Alois Kracher's growths. On the other hand, these wines are everywhere very rare and hard to get.
